Our History
College Marie Reine de la Paix is a Catholic Secondary Girls’ School located in Kigabiro Sector, Rwamagana District, Eastern Province of Rwanda. Established in 2006, the institution was founded and is managed by the Benebikira Sisters, a Catholic religious congregation committed to education, moral formation, and national development.
Since its establishment, the school has steadily positioned itself as a center of academic discipline, moral integrity, and structured learning. Operating under the regulatory framework of the Rwanda Education Board (REB), the school fully complies with national education standards, including curriculum implementation, quality assurance requirements, teacher qualification standards, and institutional governance expectations.
Over decades of service, CMRP has produced thousands of graduates who have gone on to excel in universities, government, business, medicine, engineering, and public service both within Rwanda and across the world.
Today, CMRP continues its legacy with modern facilities, a dedicated teaching staff, and a student body that represents the diversity and promise of Rwanda's future.
